Moden Haven 950: Building Better Homes Under $200,000

July 2, 2026 · 6 min read · Da Vinci Form Editorial

America does not just need more houses. It needs better houses — homes people can afford, insure, maintain, and trust.

That is the mission behind the Moden Haven 950 line of 3D concrete printed homes.

The goal is clear: bring a resilient, modern, efficient home package to market with a target price under $200,000.

But this is not just about hitting a number.

For too long, “affordable housing” has meant compromise: cheaper materials, generic layouts, higher maintenance, and homes that may not be built for the real conditions people face.

In Florida, that is no longer good enough.

A home may be affordable on day one, but if it is vulnerable to storms, expensive to insure, difficult to maintain, or slow to build, the homeowner still loses.

Affordable should not mean fragile.

A Different Standard for Affordable

The Moden Haven 950 is being developed around a different standard. This 950 sq ft concept is designed as a practical 2 bed / 2 bath single-story home with a split-bedroom layout, open living area, dedicated utility room, efficient kitchen, private primary suite, and optional carport or garage package.

The home is compact, but not compromised.

By using a 3D concrete printed wall shell, the vision is to create a stronger, smarter, more repeatable housing platform — one that is better aligned with Florida’s realities: wind, rain, heat, termites, mold, insurance pressure, and long-term durability.

Technology Is Not Enough

3D concrete printing alone does not solve affordable housing. Engineering, roofing, windows, foundations, permitting, utilities, and execution still matter.

But when the technology is paired with disciplined design and repeatable construction systems, it can become a serious part of the solution.

A Home That Works for Everyone

The bigger mission is to create a home that works for first-time buyers, workforce housing, retirees, infill lots, developers, and communities looking for resilient housing options.

The Moden Haven line is being designed as a product family: Moden Haven 950 (base model), Moden Haven 950 CP (carport package), and Moden Haven 950 G (garage package).

Execution Over Theory

The affordable housing crisis will not be solved by theory. It will be solved by better execution, better systems, and better homes.

That is what the Moden Haven 950 is being built to prove.

Resilient by design. Efficient by plan. Attainable by execution.
